Thank you. It's so stupid, because I know that everyone has their kinks and fandom is full of expressions wish fulfillment and not necessarily an indication of what people would do in real life, but I still... ugh. Squicks me out something fierce.

You know, "They're asking for it," sucks as validation, no matter what you're talking about.

Ever heard a guy BSing with his friends, verbally "eyeing" some girl and saying, "Oh yeah, just look at her, she's totally asking for it"? So not all right. Any society where an idea like that is so firmly entrenched in our minds that we use the phase in an offhand manner such as you just did has massive problems.
