So I assume Tim Roth has no MySpace or Facebook or personal website. Otherwise you could just use those to maybe send him an email or fan letter.

I hope you end up becoming real friends with this person, or liking him for himself, and forget about your original intentions.
But either way, he's got to be aware of the fact he's a child of a celebrity, and is an actor himself; so I guess he may be already wary and grounded about Facebook interaction.

tbh I'm not into fanletters or anything, I just like fangirling/fanboying. I'd never do anything about being friends with his might-be-son on facebook. I just like the feeling that I'm one degree away, that is all and that I could interact with him if I wanted to (Jack seems rather self-important on facebook, I don't know...).

And Tim is a doll. I've known a few people that have sent him fan letters and have received a reply.

I dunno, the way he writes and when you look at his personal pictures... Maybe it comes with being an actor/musical singer. I'm pretty sure he friends everyone which is not a bad thing and actually rather nice I guess.

Yeah, he seems to interact with his fans quite well, but I wanted to write fanletters to so many actors and never done it. TBH I wouldn't even know what to write. I'm rather uncreative when it comes to fangirling outside of livejournal.
