I dislike Greta Gerwig's version of Little Women because Timothée Chalamet's Laurie is insufferable with none of the original's charm.

P.S. the costuming in this film is a JOKE

I don't really get what people see in Timothée Chalamet. IMO, he's neither an exceptional actor, nor particularly good-looking. Hollywood just decided he's a Hot New Star and... there he is, I guess?

But I disliked this version of Little Women because I didn't like how the POV jumped back and forth in time. The casting felt off, too.

I love a lot of the actors, but some of them felt off, I agree. Like, they didn't quite fit the role. Don't want to call them stunt casting but then what do I call it?

My sister hated the casting for Greta Gerwig's Little Women. I myself just couldn't stand it in general.

I didn't like the nonlinear storytelling. I didn't like the costuming. And the way they spoke? I really fucking hated it. "It's the quippy dialogue like in Ladybird but it's a period piece!"

And I generally like Greta Gerwig. But this film was not for me.
