ohhh yeah the ones who are hyperdefensive of their fandom. like if you say something negative about it you are obviously just a hater and they're going to defend the franchise like they are paid to do so. i see this a lot in video games. i play a lot of games that i genuinely enjoy but sometimes there are quality of life things or minor things that would make the game more enjoyable, but people will sit there and argue against the devs adding an optional quality of life improvement because THEY don't think it's a big deal. i've even seen people literally defend bugs. 'it's funny, they don't need to fix it, i like it' it blows my mind. the devs will put it on a list of things they are going to fix and they'll still have the hardcore fanboys/fangirls saying it's fine and people shouldn't ask them to fix it

I find it hilarious when there's a quality of life improvement that people have been asking for, and the company implements it, and the ardent defenders still somehow want to tell people that it wasn't a necessary addition and it was only added due to whining. Like, even the people making the game thought it was a good idea, why are you SO against it? Also, if you say hey, this thing could be better, that doesn't mean you're saying it sucks or it's trash. It just means there's room for improvement. And nearly everything in life has room for improvement!
