I'm hoping to use Taylor Swift as a workout inspiration in the New Year. If she can get herself to Olympian-level fitness while complaining vociferously any time she's working out, well maybe I can do something similar.

Thank you, Secret Maker!

To elaborate, in the Eras Tour documentary they just released, they showed some of the infamous workout routine she had to do to be able to get through the tour every night.

And the whole time she was saying, "I hate this" on every rep. Which I relate to extremely whole-heartedly, I hate working out with the fire of a thousand suns.

(Before you @ me with "it was curated to make her look relatable", well duh. But it wouldn't have hurt her image at all to be shown working out like a hardcore dedicated athlete either. Her fans already act like she's a God, being stoic about her workout would have them squeeing over how cool she was.)

'Olympian-level' in what? Equestrian?

You know a lot of regular people who can run the equivalent of 8 miles in stilettos for 3.5 hours 6 days in a row?

While I'm sure that's way beyond what a lot of regular people could manage, phrasing it as "Olympian-level" just comes off a bit odd. Performing live is for sure exhausting, but putting it on the same level as Olympic sports I think is maybe a bit insulting to the athletes.

The gulf of fitness levels between "average person" and "Olympian-level" is vast and deep and includes many people who do a lot of light, long-distance cardio.

I could do it with her level of money and training and support.

It seems that you may not know very much about Olympic sports.
