I much, much prefer slow-paced films. I like to be able to have the time to get to know the setting and the characters. If the pace is too fast, I find I have trouble caring about what's going on, and I also experience a sensation that I can only describe as psychological whiplash. It's unpleasant.

This is the main reason why I don't like a lot of modern blockbusters. They feel at once empty and too full.
