Trying this again after messing up!

All right, so, say what you will about 'Stranger Things,' okay. There are plenty of criticisms to be made, and there are many things about the last few seasons that I don't like. The final season made some...questionable choices, even though it hit some satisfying beats and had some incredible moments.

But Freddie de Boer saying that it killed his soul to realize that the reason they sometimes put the characters in the center of the frame so that people can take clips and screenshots for Insta and TikTok is one of the stupidest critiques imaginable. As if never, in the history of photography, had anyone ever been centered in a shot prior to the advent of social media. JFC, dude, they most likely did it that way because it allowed them to get the entire cast in a single shot, and because it looks cool. Sometimes it is in fact okay to do cinematography that looks cool, especially when it's for a pulpy popcorn show.

I get that the guy doesn't like the show, but everytime I come across anything he has to say about it, it's the absolute dumbest shit. And I don't know why I keep happening across it! I guess I need to block him or something? Does Substack allow that? I should probably look into it.

I don't know that dude but I just finished the finale and, WOW! The first half is meh, the last hour is PERFECTION, 100%. I'm so emotional, I'm shaking! Going to eat some leftover shrimp and drink som leftover champagne to calm down now. Holy smokes!
