#8. She left him physically mutilated at the end of her epic story, destroying his livelihood and his reason for being, so that he could no longer function as he did as a cannon character. She took a proud and stoic man and reduced him to a gigolo, implying that he'd be forced to rely on the female lead to support him for the rest of his life.

Who was the character? Looking at the fanart it looks like Jin from Samurai Champloo? Also that's awful! Where do people get it in their heads that those sort of concepts are GOOD?
