How FS submissions work:
Day 1: FS opens up Submissions Post AAA.
Day 1-7: People submit secrets that whole week.
Day 7: Submissions Post AAA closes.
Day 8-14: Secrets in Submissions Post AAA begin to be put up. FS opens up Submissions Post BBB.
Day 14: Secrets in Submissions Post AAA are done being posted. Submissions Post BBB is closed.
Day 15-21: Secrets in Submissions Post BBB begin to be put up. Submissions Post CCC is opened.
Rinse, repeat.

SECRETS SUBMITTED DURING ONE WEEK ARE POSTED STARTING ON SATURDAY OF THE NEXT WEEK.

Situation 1:
> you submit a secret on Sunday
>> your secret will be up sometime the next week, starting from next Saturday

Situation 2:
> you submit a secret on Monday
>> your secret will be up sometime the next week, starting from next Saturday

Situation 3:
> you submit a secret on Tuesday
>> your secret will be up sometime the next week, starting from next Saturday

Situation 4:
> you submit a secret on Wednesday
>> your secret will be up sometime the next week, starting from next Saturday

Situation 5:
> you submit a secret on Thursday
>> your secret will be up sometime the next week, starting from next Saturday

Situation 6:
> you submit a secret on Friday
>> your secret will be up sometime the next week, starting from next Saturday

Situation 7:
> you submit a secret on Saturday
>> your secret will be up sometime the next week, starting from next Saturday

This IS in the FAQ, guys. Actually, MOST of the questions people ask are in the FAQ (hence why it's called the FAQ). C'mon.

When you have to make a large post declaring what most people can clearly see in the FAQ, you know that people are being stupider than normal. And that's saying something.

but what if I submit my secret on a Thursday, when will it be posted?

Or, you know, just send a secret and be patient.

So, if it isn't posted THAT SATURDAY I should resubmit it eight or nine more times?

To be honest, I've never read the entire FAQ and I'm sure I never read that part BUT EVEN SO with the sheer volume of secrets you get, how do people think theirs is going to go up right away???

Nevermind that all that stuff on the bottom of each post about "SUBMISSION POST XXX" with the # of secrets left etc. and the big fat SUBMIT SECRETS HERE (link to submission post YYY) should be a giant clue? idk call me crazy...

BUT HOW DO I SHOT WEB?

And here I sit trying to figure out if your best friend, fscom, makes all those comments with links to images one at a time, or if s/he has a nifty script that does it.

Maybe it's in the FAQ...

So what if I post on Caturday?

This post came at a great time for me! I recently submitted my first secret and was getting a bit confused at how long I should wait before assuming I somehow did it wrong (not very technosavvy, hello).

Anyway, as one of the idiots to whom this post was directed: thanks technophile!

FAQ's are clearly not getting the attention they deserve. *facepalm*
