There is a point where grossness gets too much for me and I can't watch, yeah, because I'm disgusted, not because I'm scared. So, I understand what you're getting at, but there are things that horrify me, in part, because of their grossness. I feel like disgust and horror, while not the same, can interact in ways that they can augment each other. I also feel like there are a fair number of horror creators have no real concept of balance or restraint.
