It won’t though. That culture is primarily in America where only the rich can afford the shots. For everyone else, they’re SOL because none of the major insurance companies will pay for it anymore and the smaller ones always refused to pay for it. If people lose excess weight, their health improves and that isn’t good for health insurance companies.

(Note I said improves; this only means that weight related issues will get better but if they have underlying conditions that caused the obesity or if they have anything unrelated to weight, they will not be magically cured.)

Insurances profit from their clients staying healthy, don't they? That way they spend less money. I mean they always try to dodge any costs so they shoul go all in for Ozempic.

I am not even sure if I want the fat fad to fade. It doesn't affect me directly as I don't believe that being fat is heathy. It even benefits me as I'm not that slim and I don't want the 90s stick limb fashion comeback.

Considering Ozempic's lonng term side effects are not known yet, it could just as well be that taking it would not mean "staying healthy".
