Yes, the concept of time and how different people perceive it is super interesting to me in general. Add in immortal or extra long lifespans (compared to humans) and it gets a whole new level of interesting!

I loved how this was handled in Frieren, seeing the different characters' perspectives affected by their very different lifespans was really interesting. Beautiful animation too.

Exactly. Concept of time already changes for humans as we age. Imagine how much more so for a species that can live forever. I wonder how much more difficult it would be for a millenia-old elf to relate to a very young elf child.

That's a very good point. I wonder if that's why Tolkien had his elves reproduce at a young age?
