If all sweaty people are immediately disgusting to you, how do you have sex?????

I think there's a difference between like, freshly showered people doing a few rounds of sex vs. athletes who have stewed in the same uniform and possibly heavy protective gear for like an hour and a half...

I dunno, I'm not OP, and sports shipping does not bother me at all, but people are reading more into this than OP actually said?

pretty typical for around here, sadly. it seems reasonable for someone to be grossed out by the thought of sex with someone who has been playing a sport in a uniform and gotten sweaty, but people overreact like op just shat on their dining table

I'm not even arguing about whether it's reasonable or not, people can have different preferences and be squicked or not by different things

But OP literally didn't say what people are saying they said lol. This is getting silly

As someone above pointed out, clean sweat doesn't stink until it's gone stale though, and not every sport involves wearing a ton of gear either. It's wild to me that someone who'd just come back from a run would be any grosser than someone on, say, round three in bed.

OP didn't say "all sweat is immediately gross" though, which is what you seem to be responding to. They said imagining athletes "after playing" is gross. Someone who came back from a run, per your example, has been constantly moving and isn't in the same situation as an athlete playing a game where they take time outs and breaks. Tons of athletes after a game do get stinky because they aren't covered in fresh sweat all the time. I dunno why people are insistent on denying this is true

And maybe OP would consider someone on the third round of sex gross, I can't speak for them. Still not "all sweat is immediately gross"...

Not all sports have a ton of breaks or gear or last four hours like hockey, though, and OP just said "sports" in general, so I'd have to assume they think intimacy after all sweaty things are gross. But if it's not the case and they just think sports like hockey are gross, fair enough I suppose.

The examples given were hockey and American football so I assumed they meant sports like that. A clean sweat right after a jog or workout or sauna even, seems like a different thing?

If I had to guess, OP might not consider running a sport, which I'd personally disagree with but is common enough for people to think

Not OP but I would absolutely be more bothered by someone just coming back from a run vs. round three in bed. I was there for the second one and am presumably also equally sweaty for the same reason, which makes a big difference to me.

It's not about the smell for me, it's also the wetness.

+1

I was going to say the exact same thing, sex is exercise after all.
