Yeah, my dad only reads non-fiction because that's what he likes, and he's dyslexic so he reads slowly and has trouble remembering plot. But I have noticed that if he says this, other male family members do like to jump in and talk about how it's IMPORTANT and MANLY to read only non-fiction, not like those weak little lady books. And then he smacks them down (my mum is a huge reader of everything) and it's great.
