My husband brought a cold home from work, and I finally got it a week later. My throat hurts so bad that it feels like I'm crying every time I swallow. Throat isn't red or anything, just in pain. I am already SO over it.

Ugh, my condolences. Some of the stuff that has been circulating this season has been pretty nasty. I hope you feel better soon! Chloraspectic throat spray can help quite a bit, it might be worth a try. I used to deal with colds fine, but lately I've been more of a baby and am so miserable when I'm sick.
