(Anonymous) 2026-01-26 09:19 am (UTC)(link)I keep waking up after only a couple hours of sleep and I struggle to fall back asleep. I have a sleep mask. I try to find things to listen to help me sleep at night but it doesnt run as long as the time I sleep so it throws off my sleep. Or something happens and the audio stops or doesnt play all the way (been having this issue with YouTube when I try to listen to audio books or play rain noises videos, might just give in and start using Spotify). My bed is never comfortable enough except 15 minutes before I have to get up, suddenly I've finally found a spot that is just perfect.
I've had weekends where I purposefully don't make plans because I spend all Saturday trying to get some sleep. I still end up feeling like I didn't get good sleep. =(
I've tried magnesium and melatonin but they aren't effective after about a week =( I still wake up every few hours and struggle to fall back asleep. I also don't like that sometimes when I take melatonin, I wake up feeling groggy headed and I feel like I should get more sleep. Like it's working a little too well.
