The thing that I cannot ever reconcile with Gaylors is Matty Healy. Now, if you think she's bi and genuinely dated Matty, then that's one thing. But the really hardcore ones who think she is not into men at all and all of her relationships with men have been PR, I don't understand how they explain away Matty Healy. Why would she ever have a fake relationship with Matty Healy? What would the benefit of that have been for her?

I think the official "conspiracy theory" explanation was that she was chasing the high of Folkmore being the "Taylor Swift is all grown up and leaving the high school" era with "and here she is, going through her edgy college phase." But I've never been able to imagine Taylor Swift loving anyone as much as she loves Taylor Swift, so what the fuck do I know about it?
