I will never understand why anyone is getting offended by the texts between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. They are the most inoffensive texts ever, like, it's normal chatter between friends. Of course the haters are losing their shit acting like she said something awful but it's not at all?????

Yeah, those are totally normal. People must really buy in to their hate to find anything to be offended by in there.

Who's getting offended? The Swifties think it's all perfectly normal, the haters are all laughing about how maybe the real Scooter was the Taylor we met along the way, and literally no one else cares about this high school shit.

As both a Swiftie and someone who has followed this case from day 1 and is VERY firmly on Justin Baldoni's side, I'll say this:

She owes a GIANT groveling apology to Justin for the ambushing him in the penthouse thing and lecturing him on how great Blake is. That was a bullying bitch move. She also owes apologies to Jen Abel and the entire Wayfarer party if she facilitated getting Jen's phone to Blake.

That being said, Taylor didn't actually participate in any meaningful way in ruining that movie, that shoot, or that man's life. All the context suggests that Blake is a malignant liar who told everyone she knew some version of the "Justin is awful!!!" story with key points chosen to make each person she was talking to angry. From context I'm pretty positive she told Taylor he was a faux-feminist using his privilege to exert his control over poor powerless her, and it's not exactly a secret that that is Taylor's berserk button.

(I think it's interesting that Blake sent other celebrities messages that focused on the "cult" she said he was in - which Bahai is not - but that doesn't show up in Taylor's messages. I don't think Blake needed to bring upp that specific for Taylor to be on her side.)

What Taylor did for the most part of gas up her friend. If I had a friend who told me she had a boss who was using his position of power to be a dick I'd be texting all kinds of shittalk too. Not gonna run a background check to make sure if my friend of decades is telling the truth.

Taylor: “That bastard! The only person who’s allowed to use their privilege to exert power over young women is MEEE!”

The lengths some will go to make them villains. I don't have strong opinions of either women, and I feel like they were within their rights to talk their shit. As if I've never bitched about a shitty boss to a friend and they gassed me up and vice versa.

Yeah, I didn't read through everything, but the highlights really weren't anything awful. I know I have commiserated with friends about a shitty person they're having to deal with and it sounded a lot like their texts. Sometimes I'll even overreact just to try and make them feel better.
