Yes, that's a problem. It's not drinking during the day that's the issue (there's nothing wrong with having a mimosa with brunch/a glass of wine with a nice lunch or sitting down with a beer to watch the game at 2 PM, for example), it's the drinking throughout the day (which implies that you're having multiple drinks) AND the doing so in secret. It would be just as much of a problem if you were doing that in the evening.
