While at work, if I'm feeling a little on edge I have self compassion sayings in my head I repeat to myself. I also have photos/screenshots of sayings, mantras, quotes, poems that help calm me.
Some commons sayings I remind myself:
I can't be liked by everyone, and in turn, not every person is going to be liked by me.

I can only control what I say and what I do.

Not all days are easy/good, but not every day is going to be a bad day.

I look forward to the time I will have by myself because people who affect my stress won't be there.


*I also sometimes do a grounding technique if my mind seems to be jumbled or spiraling. What works for me is taking deep breaths as I mentally list down every item of clothing I'm wearing.
