That sounds frustrating. Especially because your MIL is being done a huge favor by her family. It's stupid and self-sabotaging of her to be a giant pain in the ass to the people she depends upon for housing.

That said, her poor behavior might be the incentive everyone needs to get moving on finding her an assisted living situation. It'll need to be done eventually, might as well rip the band-aid off before marriages and relationships are soured by her acting out.
