I am so torn on Heartopia. I have watched a few people play it, and it looks fun. It looks like the type of game I would really enjoy. But, I read that it had AI used in its development, and I'm really not a fan of that. I know AI can't be fully avoided, and I don't want to be one of those people who digs their heels in against anything new, but I just feel like the way AI is being in game development right now is more harmful than anything else. I'm still working out how I feel about AI.

Oh oof, sucks to hear OP :(. Yeah, I also try my best to avoid anything I hear has had AI used if I can. I hope you can find a good alternative!

So I have a family member who works in the games industry and they said basically they have all been forced to use AI for a couple of years now. They work for a major studio. I understand your stance but it seems like it is going to be unavoidable pretty soon.
