I am sorry I didn't mean to annoy people with this secret! It also isn't a troll secret. I genuinely loved the music video. I woke up yesterday morning and remembered that she had released this video, and I was so excited to watch it. I just feel like she did a great job with the video. It really doesn't have a "showgirl" theme to it, which some people were disappointed by. And I understand that and respect their opinions, but I just LOVE the dorky, 90s nostalgia throwback style she went with instead. I laughed at parts of it like the cactus flipping them off. The song itself is my favorite off the album, like I said. And it's just so upbeat and happy!

She also had all the people who were on the same episode of the Graham Norton show with her, when the album released, and I just thought that was so fucking cool. I genuinely just smiled the whole time I watched it. I love seeing her act unapologetically dorky and happy in the video. I thought it was so cute. Life is hard and shitty and the music video truly did and does bring me a lot of joy.

Also *I* will certainly not be talking about liking her merch lol. I have heard bad things about its quality so I mostly avoid it.

I'm not a TSwift fan, as in I don't hate her and I enjoy her music when I hear it but I don't really keep up with the releases etc. I never would have watched this vid if you hadn't posted about it and you are ten thousand percent right, that video is such a dorky splash of joy! I loved it all. The wardrobe, the silly plot, the silly dancing, all of it. For some reason the "ma'am, please leave" at the bar cracked me up.

You're right, life is hard and shitty especially these days and it was fun to watch something fun and uncomplicated and dorky.
