question for the crocheters

I know we have at least a couple.

Are the fancy expensive hooks worth it? I'm using the aluminum ergonomic susan bates and they're fine, but I feel like I'm being brainwashed by crochet groups into wanting to buy the tulip or clover or one of the fancy ones because they all talk so highly about it.

Nope, it's 100% what is comfortable and ergonomic for you, plus being a material that works well with your thread.
