Sometimes I think about making a Discord for F!S. I like reading the personal posts and updates and think it'd be fun to have more for in between posts.

But then I realize that A. it might take what little conversation we have away, B. I don't know how you'd keep the trolls out, and C. I don't really like Discord.

nah tried that once and immediatley realized it was a massively stupid idea and nobody talked much. And also yeah Discord is pulling some shit lately

i would usually say this is a fun idea, but a server or any kind of social media group would remove most of the anonymity of fs, which i think a lot of people prefer?

Personally, I love F!S so much partly because of the forum platform we still have. It's a fun idea, but I really don't think it'd work out.

I'm curious how it would go, but 1. People are soured on Discord for pushing ID verification, and 2. Most comments on F!S are anonymous, Discord isn't. It might filter out trolls but it would be super quiet unless there's a significant amount of posters who have Discord but not a DW account. Which I doubt.
