Except it's neither of those things. I love traveling. I've been to places in the UK, Europe and Asia and would love to go again. But a lot of the things I love about those places aren't necessarily the same things I'd be doing if I lived there, and the demands of everyday life are very different than how you live as a tourist.

IME, people who have a lot of travel experience figure this out real quick. People for whom overseas travel is mostly just fantasy will be more likely to say oh yeah, I would totally love to live in an idyllic village in southern France, etc. etc.
