I went to the Stray Kids movie this weekend and I feel bad about how annoyed I was with all the singing and dancing the audience did. Yes, technically it was a concert, but shown in a small theater and all the screaming was drowning out the songs. I will probably never make it to an actual concert. First time I have been to something like this, but now I know it’s not for me. I realize this makes me sound like a no-fun grump.

I went to exactly one concert as a pre-teen and was so annoyed by everyone standing up, dancing, singing etc. because I was here to see the band, not the audience. I decided concerts weren't for me.

Yeah, I personally would love that atmosphere, but I can see why it'd be off putting if you didn't expect it/could hear the show.
I had the opposite experience when Merrily We Come Along had a one night showing. There was barely no one there and while I maybe would have been annoyed if everyone sung over the show, the absent coughing from the old couple behind us and otherwise silence wasn't fun either.
