I just hope the Disney+ Muppets Show Special does enough numbers to get a new season greenlit.

I hope it more than anything. This could be the thing the brings a fractious world all back together. It could be our Rainbow Conne.....

idk I'm mad only finding out afterward that it was a one-shot, not a new series, so if they were willing to gamble on that, fuck 'em. they needed a better guest star if they were trying to gauge interest to greenlight a series.

It's an open pathway to a new series of enough people watch it. Not exactly a pilot but not not a pilot. If it's popular it'll get the green light.

It’s a backdoor pilot. If I had flopped then no big deal. But it is critically acclaimed and is getting huge viewer hours so they’ll end up doing a series.
