Listen. At some point, if you keep calling it "transphobia" when assholes who happen to be trans are called out for being assholes, then not only is the word gonna stop having any power, but people are gonna associate "asshole" with "trans."

If you don't reject the bad actors from your community, then your community will be defined by them. And if you treat people poorly, then you will be defined by that behavior, regardless of your identity.

Cishet white men absolutely have a problem with being defined by the worst of their actions. Most of the so-called "crisis of masculinity" (the falling rates of college attendance, the rising unemployment, the "deaths of despair," the gradual freezing out in certain industries) is a direct result of their bad actions catching up to them.
