DA

Why should a whole group be accountable for what one member of their group does? Does every white person condemn every crime committed by any white person? Does any atheist condemn every crime committed by a fellow atheist?

Just because they happen to share one overarching religion (that has many varied versions just like christianity does) doesn't mean they have some special duty to condemn everything bad any Muslim does and it doesn't make them bad people if they don't.

Because big groups of non-Muslims in my country condemn racism and violence towards Muslim groups and do rallies against right wing leanings but any time the perpetrator of a crime is Muslim, their own communities have nothing to say about it. I just expect a bit of the same energy my own group extends towards them to be given back. At the very least, I expect religious officials from their end to condemn attacks made in the name of Islam, but that also never happens. On the contrary.
