Exactly, and that's the catch-22 of season passes. The impetus is, well, if I saved up/finally have the vacation days/right schedule, this ONE day, I will still be in line for the rides for hours and hours and not enjoy any of it. Maybe with a season pass I can be like, okay today I'm going to focus on Ride A, next week I'll do ride B, then ride C, I'll exhaust every ounce of fun in a single day and still be able to show up for all the rides I didn't get to today, because I have a season pass! But it never actually works that way.

Roller coasters are fun, thousands of people trying to simultaneously have the same fun are not fun. there's really no winning.
