I don't blame them for taking the roles, and I wouldn't really expect a bunch of 10/11 year olds to be aware of JKR's fuckery either. The adult actors though, and especially those who already have established careers, are a different matter.

I absolutely do not condone child actors who don't know about the creator. I DO obviously condone the parents who agreed to let them be part of it.

Yeah, child actors almost never get the final say in what roles they play. It's impossible to tell how much of the decision was them asking a parent or agent to let them audition and how much was the adults deciding on their own.
