I am giving OP grace and assuming they didn't understand the negative rascist connotations odd looking and having "a condition" have. I think there is not really an easy way to explain when/how you mistake someone's race.

I'm hesitantly giving the benefit of the doubt... if someone had said "this actor is a bit odd looking for an asian person" and it turns out that actor is half white, I wouldn't find that maliciously racist, either. I also assumed the condition part was specifically about monolidded eyes, which most 'white' people don't have, not his overall appearance or anything
