True, but I'm more shocked they heard that and then looked him up rather than liking his music alone.

I feel like that's a normal reaction? Wouldn't quite a few people be curious about what the music of a maybe murderer sounds like?

...No? At least I wouldn't think so. Personally, I would go out of my way to avoid anything he's done. Giving attention to murderers never turns out well. If he ends up being innocent, that's different, but until then, not for me.

I'm with you. I knew nothing about this story until I saw this secret (I live under a rock I guess) and my first reaction was "huh, I wonder what the song sounds like", not because I want to become a fan of this guy's music and actively listen to it but just out of curiosity. In the same way I've looked up... idk, what Hitler's paintings looked like. I'm not going to hang a print in my house either. "I wonder what kind of art a mind like that would produce" just doesn't seem a weird reaction to me.
