Yeah, I got that from the background of the secret.

I guess this just doesn't seem like a very pointed way of making fun of the fandom, since it starts by clearly acknowledging that there are some very racist fans (demonstrably true?) and positions OP as maybe ignorant-but-benign and maybe less-than-consciously racist. If OP represents a common type of fan in the fandom and a source of more subtle racist criticism/microaggression/hostility, I do get it as a way of snarking about them. I just haven't seen or heard people pointing to that as the main issue.

But again, I'm not in the fandom, just hearing things second- or third-hand. So maybe it hits harder if you're more closely familiar.
