I very much enjoy Bridgerton, it’s a fun, tropey, smutty romp. But the classical renditions of pop songs drive me up the wall.

Not because they’re pop music turned classical, but because so many of the chosen songs do not match the context of the on-screen situation! It’s like the people choosing them are not LISTENING to the lyrics and are going on pure tune and it drives me mad.
