I'm ambivalent when it comes to remakes of movies or TV shows, but I will always support remakes of video games.

They're a media that was 100% constrained by the technology and the storage format of their time, and there's nothing that's more of a bummer than reading interviews with video game devs talking about things they wanted to put into a particular game but quite literally couldn't either because it wasn't possible with the technology they had at the time or they couldn't fit it onto the disc.

If a remake means they get to make the game according to their original vision for it? Worth it.
