I was really ill when the Starfleet Academy show dropped. In fact I was so ill I was in hospital due to breathing issues. I missed getting in at the start, and for some reason I just have no enthusiasm for diving in now I'm well again. I'm not put off by all the usual blah-blah from the haters, I just... have no enthusiasm to dive in.

This may not have anything to do with the show itself, nonny. Honestly, it kind of sounds like you're still recovering.

I hope you find your enthusiasm again -- for this or something else -- and it brings you all the joy you could hope for.

This is how I often am these days. If I don't catch a tv show when it starts or a movie when it is in theater, I often don't end up getting into it at all. Thankfully I did end up watching Academy from the beginning, because my mother wanted to watch, so we watched together. And I"m loving it. But I get this completely OP.

I've only recently started it and I'm really enjoying it, so maybe it's just not a show you like? Or you're still recovering and don't have the energy for a new thing?
