Personally, I'd rather have twenty secrets about the same topic a week instead of all the whining about those secrets. Which is just as if not more repetitive, considering it happens every time. This is a common complaint I see in anon spaces, tbh. And TBH even as someone who is sapphic, I don't have an issue with androphilic people venting about seeing vulva in their porn. People are into different things sexually, I have a similar problem with futa/girldick in F/F content that puts me off. As long as it doesn't go into "you're a sicko if you enjoy this content" territory or shaming people with this anatomy IRL, I don't mind venting about squicks.

AYRT, that makes sense. I don't think it's accurate to assume it's the same person ranting when it's a squick I see more people speaking up about. I doubt it's the same people, but sometimes I feel like these anons are better off swapping emails and becoming friends lol.

this is the first one about doujin in particular iirc. the rest were about finding m/m with vaginas in fanfic or something? most looked like secret maker secrets, no particular fandom image, lots of text

If anyone else is curious, I couldn’t find anything related when skimming through the posts for January and February.

The closest was something about fanart of an OC in drag.

Same, and I'm pretty sick of Taylor Swift secrets. Like how many times do we need 'ugh I hate when there are ~icky vaginas~ in my porn'? The backbutton is not difficult to use! I've run out of sympathy. If you're an adult on the internet and you see something you don't enjoy in your pornography, walking away is free. We all sometimes see untagged for kinks or acts that we don't like, man.

I am not stumbling across a bunch of untagged boys with vaginas so I don't know what I'm doing wrong and honestly I'm starting to feel a little left out at this point.

Of course it’s often hard to recall details, but if you do happen to remember any more specifics on “icky vagina” secrets, I’d be interested.

I feel like there have been *very* few of these, myself.

You and me must be frequenting similar areas online because I too have not stumbled across surprise vagina art or fic and when there is trans stuff it’s very clearly tagged or labelled as such.

I find it ironically amusing as I truly would not care at all if I did come across it untagged, but alas I am missing out.

I joined a new fandom and was very surprised to find it was a common thing, since I'd only rarely encountered it before! So I think it may be very fandom dependent.

I suspect this is the kind of thing that depends very heavily on what ships you read for.

My long-time OTP (not doujinshi related) is a mentor/mentee ship with a very large age gap, and oh boy there are a LOT of fics where the younger character is either pre-op trans or a cuntboy. I feel like most people are good about tagging for it, but that's AO3 culture for you. I wouldn't be at all surprised if people were not nearly as good about tagging for it on other platforms.

And even with people being good about tagging for it, it's popular enough that the occasional person not tagging for it does mean getting Surprised By Cunt every so often, lol. Not a big deal to me, but I can definitely see how if people were even 5% less consistent about tagging for it, I would find that annoying, since it's really not my thing.

I suggest you back button out of fandomsecrets that annoy you then since you're also an adult on the internet. Follow your own damn advice. There have been maybe two secrets about this in the last four months, this one included. Depending on the site and fandom, untagged juicy cunts in gay porn are a daily occurrence. Just because you're lucky that it's not in your personal fandom spaces doesn't mean everyone who does encounter it is delusional.
