No, Jessica, I'm choosing less online consumption.

AYRT

And that's fine, Felicia, in fact I'd recommend it, but don't act like online storefronts wanting to be more secure is some terrible affront.

I never said it was a terrible affront. I said they don't get my business. No problem on my end.

AYRT

They don't get your business...because they don't want you to get defrauded.

And again, based on what you've said. this means that if you ever mistype your password when logging into your bank account, you'll be blaming them and taking your money elsewhere, because it means they don't want your business, right?

The banking issue was settled upthread. Now you're just embarrassing yourself.

AYRT

No, I am very much not.

You "settled" the banking issue by declaring that you know your password by heart. You're assuming that you'll never mistype it, and that as you get older, it won't get harder for you to remember it. For you to be consistent in your position, then if there ever comes a day that you mistype or misremember, it will mean that your bank will no longer get your business.

Yep, that's me. Future decrepit Gen X-er rage-quitting their primary bank account because of a typo. You nailed it.

Have a nice weekend.

AYRT

I see plenty of Gen Xers do exactly that.

No, you really are embarrassing yourself. You're projecting a LOT onto ayrt and making some poor assumptions here.
