3) Yes. Yes.

4) I can, but I'm clumsy enough that I might accidentally reply on of the auto responses while checking it or switching from speaker.

5) Unhide the password and check it, if it's what I meant to type in and fails again, check the username, if they are both what I meant to type in and it fails again, check if there's something wrong with the site or if I've somehow mixed up the password for another site or with an old password. Then depending on how important it was for me to get into, either reset the password or have someone reset the password for me, if I can't do it.

6) I don't know. I generally dive in right away and start using it and sort of learn along the way. I can usually figure out the basics in a few minutes, but it might take me days or weeks to get fully familiar with it most of its functionality because there are things I don't do that often that I won't think to do until I need to.
