I still have a bad conscience playing video games during the day and especially when the weather is nice. Because my mother really didn't like us hanging out in front of the TV or PC when the weather was nice outside.

Also, my moth

SA
(What in the world is up with my phone today?)
Also, my mother was a bit of an almond mom and I think I still have issues with food. We almost never had snacks at home and it was always a massive guilt trip when you actually ate some chips. I still basically hide snack wrappers in my own trash out of habit.

No, no, we want to hear more about your moth.

Sure! I had a super cute moth visit my window last summer. It was a white plume moth and it was very adorable. Fun fact: the colloquial name for them in my country is little feather ghost.

Ooohh, those look pretty cool. I miss living near woods, I used to see all types of moths.

Same. I feel like video games are such an evening activity. We didn't have video games for such a long time, but when we did it was definitely an "after your homework and chores are done" type of thing. And in the summer it was still an afternoon/evening thing. Same with TV. Though on weekends we could watch saturday morning shows, but there was definitely "enough, go outside" cut off.

nayrt but it's funny because I never had those rules as a kid, but they're something I've developed for myself as an adult because I don't WANT to be inside playing video games or watching TV when it's nice out! If the weather is pleasant I'm absolutely going outside and any sort of indoor entertainment can wait until the evening.
