Now this is a secret that lives in my heart. I'm not sure why cdramas do this "you'll only see this version of the character in the first episode" but it makes the downgrade hurt even more.

Right? It's like they know audiences want to see X, so they'll put that in the first episode (or first few episodes) to draw people in and then pull the rug out from underneath you. I don't get it. If it's a good idea and people like it, why wouldn't you make that consistent throughout the series?
