Yup. And it is rising later, so I'll be driving to work in the dark in the morning. I hate that.

I will trade driving to work in the dark for having sun in the afternoon to spend time outsode after work. I had spending all my sunlight hours at work.

Same, sun in the morning is absolutely useless to me because I can't actually enjoy it or get any use out of it when I have to go to work. Sun in the afternoon/evening is something I can take advantage of and enjoy.

You get it

Exactly. All I do in the morning is take a quick walk and drive to work, both I can do without the sun. But the afternoon? I am free from work and can feel like I actually have hours in my day that are just for me. I get so much done and am so much happier!

I have a friend that says the sun depresses her so she likes the long winter nights and short days. I love her, but she's crazy. (We joke back and forth and riff each other about our opposite views.)

I hate driving in the dark.

Sun in the morning makes for a healthier circadian rhythm. It also prevents a lot of children's deaths/injuries from walking to school in the dark and getting hit by cars.

I agree. Not a morning person, getting up and driving to work in the dark makes it harder for my brain to get started, even with coffee.

I used to have to be at work by 5am, so no matter what time of year it was, it was dark anyway.

I like the darker mornings now because I go for walks early and I prefer the sun not being in my eyes. I like to feel unobserved, lol.

Same, my husband starts work at 5am, and in the summer, the sun isn't up here at 5am, either. So it's dark no matter what time the sun rises.

Getting dark early in the afternoon fucks with my circadian rhythm way more than dark in the morning. I think it depends on the individual.

Could be, but most studies so far show that it's of benefit for most people to have sun in the morning.
