Looks corny and a little too indulgent
I'm so fucking excited for this

The trailer I saw looked really fun.

I'm in, I hope it will be batshit!

I liked 1985's The Bride with Sting and Jennifer Beals (yeah, seriously), but this one just doesn't appeal to me. It looks like a modern Bride of Frankenstein by way of Bonnie and Clyde with the Bride as a mix of Harley Quinn and Lady Gaga at her avant-gardest. And that doesn't work for me, but I hope it's everything you want and you have fun watching.

Agreed, the ads I've seen for it are straight out of Jared Leto's Joker era, the whole thing looks and sounds unpleasant. I can't even tell if it's supposed to be connected to the most recent attempt at Frankenstein or if it's in its own separate universe...the former would at least make sense as to why we're getting a Bride of Frankenstein movie in tyool 2026 but it still doesn't have any appeal if you're a viewer who didn't watch said Frankenstein movie.

Corny and too indulgent is about right. It's entertaining, and good at holding your attention, but it's trying to do about 5 things at once. Some of those things get too much focus, some not enough, and not all of them complement each other.

It is a bit like Frankenstein's monster in a way, a lot of differents parts put together and the result is not as beautiful as the creator thought it would be.
