This continues to disappoint me, that this still happens.

I'm an admin for a Discord server for a YouTuber with over half a million subscribers, and we have no compunction about dishing out justice to mods or admins who either abuse their position or otherwise act a fool. Hell, when we did interviews for potential new mods/admins (that the users themselves would nominate), one of things we asked was how the person would handle a conflict of interest re: their duties.

Hmm, on one hand it makes sense for all the mods to have an agreed upon understanding for what is and is not okay. But on the other, yeah, that is weird.
