My big one in the Tolkien fandom is Celebrimbor/Maedhros. I can't stand Maedhros, and I honestly don't even get where this ship came from or how it is so popular.

I used to crack ship Sauron/Galadriel, but since Ring of Power it has become a massive NOTP.

Xander/anyone on Buffy really. Even though I like him with Anya on the show, he doesn't deserve her.

Doctor/Rose. Doctor/Clara.

Dean/Sam.

Thor/Loki. Bruce/Natasha.

Any ship where the contempt goes only one way. It always feels like a gross bully/victim ship.

When it goes both ways, oddly, I can work with that. The one-sided version just makes me think the hater is unhinged and needs some sense slapped into them (even if that could also apply in the both-sides version).

Penelope/Colin, I wasn't endeared towards it even in s1 when I knew it would happen down the line because Colin was such a nothing-character, but I hoped that they would at least get a good shot at being the main romance and, nope. Utter shit and disappointing as a friends-to-lovers fan because it missed basically every mark needed for it to work. I went from 'hm I don't really like the idea of this' to 'get it out of my face' in the span of one season.

Jean/Scott(and the Jean/Scott/Logan triangle by extension), I used to like it but as time went on I really soured on it and how Jean was used as a pawn to make Scott and Logan fight one another and how often she was killed to make them both sad. X-Men Evo is the only canon where I still like them because they erased that stupid love triangle entirely and it was better for it.

Janeway/Chakotay is an instant NOPE from me, and I hated Booth/Bones from Bones so much that I quit watching halfway through the first season when it became clear that was the direction they were headed in.

If everyone in fandom had to choose one and only one ship to fight for, what would you pick? Do you go with your heart or join a juggernaut for safety in numbers? If the latter, which one?

Disappointing day

Been looking forward to having a calzone from our only pizza place. They didn't open today with no explanation why. Only other place is Papa Johns which is overpriced and sucks. Cried for 20 minutes about it.

Awww, I'm so sorry! That really sucks, hugs to you. It's awful to look forward to something and then be disappointed by something totally out of your control. And calzones are AWESOME. Maybe you can get it tomorrow instead?

That sucks. I hope you get your calzone desires properly satisfied on another day.

My own disappointment was driving about an hour each way for a craft workshop that I thought was going to be really interesting and then just ended up being basic cross-stitch (which I already knew I didn’t like).

Fuck I hate days like that. Its always when you suddenly decide to indulge and treat yourself and then something happens and it is like the final straw for holding it together.
