I can't imagine why. Two major interstate highways run through that part of the state, including one that connects to Atlanta, and the venue itself is *right* off an interstate spur.

The equipment and stuff was already stateside, so it wasn't a matter of that.

For the first instance (Simpsonville), there was inclement weather, equipment getting damaged, and a venue staff hostile to the gathered fans.

The second instance was just inclement weather. Other shows in Charlotte and Knoxville (which are in the same general region of the country) got the ax as well, after governors in the respective states declared states of emergency for a blizzard.

I'm convinced for that part of South Carolina, there's either some great conspiracy (/j) or some other force in place that doesn't want a ritual in that area. If they played the capital (which is centrally located) I think they would do great.
