Lindsay Nikole youtube channel does edu-docs one on history of cats was amazing prehistoric stuff to present day and she also covered human evolution including up to date information - she always disclaims "that we know of" because science leads to new information all the time.

another channel that touches on some historical stuff is History & Hearsay on youtube. Christina (and often cute doggo Stella) go over historical stories that sparked interest when they were news back in the day. She doesn't claim to be a historian but she does do research and credit her sources.
