Actually I don't think the demons have gotten past the fondling. I JUST REALISED MOST OF THEM DO A LOT OF FOREPLAY WHICH IS WHY THEY END UP DYING.

You know, to me, all of these scenes are over-ridden by the awesome plot, great character development, and gayness of guts and griffith and sexy character designs. So yeah :) It's also a very emotional manga, but every girl I know overlooks it ~_~; for the gore and thinks it's all 2 DARK. PSHHHTTT

Dude, Guts x Griffith OTP. That's part of the reason I love Volumes 1-13 the most. It was THEM ALL OVER THE PLACE. I scanlated two doujinshi on them some years back myself. *Dies*

I can't read it when I'm in a grumpy mood though. It's too intense to read on a bad day and CAN be depressing. Otherwise? Berserk forever. Miura had better not die before it's finished or I'm bringing him back to life and MAKING him finish it.

Well, GutsXGriffith is a pretty tragic and dark OTP in the first place. WELL IT WOULD HAVE WENT BETTER IF FATE DIDNT SCREW THEM OVER, but I like it that way. But yeah, since their relationship is my favourite aspect of the manga, I sometimes get all antsy and wait for confrontations between them, because their rivalry really drives it. But Guts seems so... :[ LOST these days. I hope Casca gets healed soon, though that..wont go well, anyways. I guess that's why I'm glad he's found friendship in Schierke and Serpico but yeah. I adored the old Hawks and there's this sense of unresolved justice and tension between Guts and Griffith and you know, the fact that Griffith got away with it all and then lost like...all of his personality. It's just depressingXD

But I love every character, and adore the new ones, so I'm cool with it. I know the manga makes me sad and depressed sometimes, though :( So I know how you feel there. But nothing will ever make me as depressed as the Eclipse XD or Griffith's torture. NOTHING.

That manga seriously surprise buttsexed me so hard on those volumes. I almost didn't want to read any more :[ Especially because of what an aimless asshole Guts became afterwards.

OH YOURE MAKING ME ALL NOSTALGIAC. Good thing I'm writing the manifesto on these two.

Yeah, seriously. Nothing good came out of the Eclipse, and it's just SO SAD ksskhfkj. I seriously loved the old Hawks. (And honestly, I cried for them during the Eclipse. I'd seen the anime before I watched the manga and augh that was the first time I'd gotten as emotional as I had for ANYTHING fictional of that sort.)

As for Griffith's torture? Oh god, that too. Just. WHY GRIFFITH, WHY. ;-;

The scene I liked most between the two was when Griffith is talking to Charlotte about his dream during one of the banquets and Guts and Caska are listening in on him, and soon after that Guts just leaves after their battle. It seriously broke my heart. ._.

... I'm gonna go read it again.

The anime made me cry on that scene, too. It was so desperate and they were all trying so hard to survive, but you just knew they were doomed and it was like..watching the worst thing on earth. When Judeau died? HAJEHJAWhejwae I cried like a little baby. I just..it was so unfair to all of them.

AGH I just. Loved their friendship/relationship. It was amazing. I have so many favourite scenes, but mine is in Volume 11, when Guts is helping Tortured!Griffith put on his breastplate and is CONVINCED Griffith will get better (this was cut out of the anime :[), and he says "It's just the two of us now. You can take off that helmet."

Oh god, Judeau and PIPPIN. Pippin just... AUGH I WAS SO GLAD RICKERT WAS SAVED. ;; BUT SKJFHKJSDFHKJHFDK. AAAAAAAUGH I HATE THAT ECLIPSE.
